Miss Sophie: Same Procedure As Every Year

Miss Sophie is in financial distress. Her solution: She has five men compete for her heart: Mr. Pommeroy, Sir Toby, Mr. Winterbottom, Admiral von Schneider and Count Szabos. The already tricky plan gets completely out of control when Miss Sophies childhood sweetheart, the butlers son James, appears.

Miss Sophie invites the gentlemen on a dream date to Ascot: horse races, strawberry punch, high stakes. At Ascot, Miss Sophie experiences another financial setback. James gets on the trail of a rotten game and ends up exposing one of the marriage candidates as a cheater.

Then there were only two! For his dream date, one bachelor takes the group to France, to the “Village of Truth.” The village lives up to its promise—Miss Sophie and James confront their feelings, and one marriage candidate makes a surprising confession.
