Angus Ashworth: Yorkshire Heritage Hero

Auctioneer Angus Ashworth is on a mission to help save Yorkshires stately homes for the nation. He spends the weekend at Newburgh Priory, near York, which boasts Oliver Cromwells body buried in the attic and serious maintenance problems.

Angus becomes a trainee butler at historic Scampston Hall. He finds a forgotten treasure trove of antiques including a rare Victorian bedroom relic.

Angus visits Birdsall House near Malton, North Yorkshire, to assist the owners in uncovering and auctioning items to help fund the preservation of the historic estate.
