Eccentric Scotish millionaire Angus McSporran comes to Chisleton to ask Supergran for his hand in marriage. Simultaniously, the Scunner Campbell is also the Black Pudding Heiress Lady Valerie Glutt. Supergran doesnt like the thought of either of these romantic pairings.

The Chisleton Athletics are facing off against the unbeatable Mighty Rovers and even with the encouragement of Supergran, it seems like the hometown boys stand no chance at all. The Scunner Campbell is also betting on the Chisleton team, because he owes Vincent Eleven pounds by Saturday.

Supergran comes to the aid of The Great Renaldo (birth name: Ronald MacDonald) and his mother Clinging Ivey. Once a great magician, Renaldo lost his confidence after being tricked out of his act (and applause) by Fabulous OFinnigan. Supergran proposes to use Inventor Blacks new Manual Hypnotizer machine on Renaldo. Meanwhile, wanting to thwart the Tartan Tornado at every turn, The Scunner invites Fabulous OFinnigan to Renaldos comeback show.

Glaswegian master of disguise Greta Garboils teams with the Scunner and dresses up like Supergran (with the Muscles posing as Willie & Edison) to commit crimes. Soon the real Supergran is arrested and put on bread and water in the Chisleton police station.

Chisleton has got marathon fever. Even the Scunner and his cronies are practicing, but only so they can rob the Chisleton bank on race day.

The Scunner Campbell is chasing a winning lottery ticket lost by a gust of wind. Mrs. Petunia Preston is missing Cyril the Snake (actually an old vacuum cleaner hose) and now cant perform at the Orphans Tea Party.

Can even Supergran make it in time? The Scunner Campbell up a tree, PC Norman in quick sand, PC Leekie locked in his own prison cell.... and the very last egg of the Flying Diplodocus about to be snaffled!

Its American week in Chisleton, and the Scunner Campbell sets up a daring oceanic scam. Can Supergran save this ship of fools as it heads for the rocks?

Madge, Duches of Claridge, is due on an official visit to Chisleton. So is Hetty the Hat, kleptomaniac extraordinaire. Even Scunner Campbell can tell the difference between them, cant he? Does Supergran have the speed and wits to avoid a diplomatic incident?

Sid Scoundrel arrives in town to open his latest Academy of Crime. Naturally, Scunner Campbell is the first to enrol, and in the crime-wave which threatens to engulf Chisleton, Supergran is knocked out by Essence of School Dinners and tied to the railway track.

Katherine Cat Burglar is, as the Scunner Campbell discovers, a snooker ace. He manages her to stardom... and sets up the Frame of the Century!

Country and Western Week empties Chisleton once again, offering the Scunner a golden opprotunity. Supergran needs Eddie Kidds superbike to race to the rescue!
