Magilla Gorilla is a gorilla who spends his time languishing in the front display window of Melvin Peebles' pet shop, eating bananas and being a drain on the businessman's finances.

S1E1 - Big Game 1964-01-14

When Magilla is bought by a millionaire, he finds out that his new owner is a big game hunter, out to bag one last trophy. Magilla is able to trick the millionaire into thinking his butler is the gorilla he wants to hunt, and soon finds a way to get back to the safety of the pet store.

S1E2 - Atchison, Topeka & Sam Jose 1964-01-14

When a banker finds out that robber Sam Jose plans on robbing the train, calls in Ricochet and Droop-a-Long for help. Deciding to disguise themselves as mailbags, thinking this is the best way to corner Sam Jose. After unsuccessful run-ins with the train robber, Ricochet promptly thinks of a way to get Sam Jose.

S1E3 - Calling All Kin 1964-01-14

After getting tired of feuding with Punkin’ Puss, Mushmouse decides to call in his cousins to help get the upper-hand. At first Punkin’ Puss is confused at how Mushmouse is able to outsmart him, but when he discovers that Mushmouse called his “kin” to help him out, Punkin’ Puss decides to call in his family to help him out.

S1E4 - Gridiron Gorilla 1964-01-21

Tired of continually losing football games, a coach buys Magilla for his team. After becoming the star player the team is on its way to a winning season, but when an opponent discovers Magilla’s favorite food, they use that information to defeat the team. As a result, Magilla gets sent back to the pet store.

S1E5 - Good Little Bad Guy 1964-01-21

When Daddy Mumbleweed is teaching his son how to be a really good bad guy; hes flabbergasted when Ricochet and Droop-a-Long always are able to stop him from robbing. It isn’t until Ricochet arrests him that Daddy Mumbleweed discovers it was his son who helped in his capture.

S1E6 - Small Change 1964-01-21

Mushmouse decides to sneak into the kitchen for a snack. When he opens the door to the icebox, he discovers that Punkin’ Puss patiently waiting for him. Mushmouse turns to a spell book to grow as big as Punkin’ Puss. The formula has the opposite effect and shrinks Punkin’ Puss to his size. Mushmouse decides to wreak havoc on his cat friend.

S1E7 - Private Magilla 1964-01-28

In an attempt to finally get rid of Magilla, Mr. Peebles sends him to join the army. There, he is assigned to a special task after impressing his leaders, taking a rocket to the moon!

S1E8 - Cradle Robber 1964-01-28

While guarding a safe, Ricochet and Droop-a-Long find a baby at their door. Unaware that the “baby” is the Cactus Kid, they take him in. It doesn’t take long for the Cactus Kid to try and steal the safe, but is stopped by the sheriff. When Ricochet realizes that the baby is really the Cactus Kid, he thinks of the perfect way to rehabilitate him.

S1E9 - Hornswoggled 1964-01-28

While the two are feuding, Mushmouse finds a dog with his muzzle caught. After helping him, he offers to help if he ever gets caught in a situation. Punkin’ Puss tries to catch Mushmouse before he can call his new friend. “Stinky” offers to help Punkin’ Puss, things don’t go as planned when a moose mistakes the sound of Punkin Puss’ horn for a female. The four get chased through the hills by a love-sick moose.

S1E10 - Bank Pranks 1964-02-04

Magilla is sold to a pair of robbers that ask him to break in to a nearby bank. When the police arrive, the robbers try to flee with out Magilla and are caught when he jumps into the back of the getaway car. After receiving an award for the capture, Magilla returns home to the Pet Store.

S1E11 - West Pest 1964-02-04

Ricochet gets a letter that he suspects will involve a typical crime to solve. He discovers that Rocky Rattler kidnapped a widow for ransom, Droop-a-Long and Ricochet make pests of themselves trying to save her from the bad guy. As a result, Rocky Rattler turns himself in, and gets reformed.

S1E12 - Muscle Tussle 1964-02-04

Mushmouse is feeling sorry for himself when his cousin comes for a visit. After Punkin’ Puss takes his nap, the cousins decide to let Megaton beat him up. Punkin’ Puss thinks that Mushmouse finally got the best of him, he decides to leave. However, when he realizes the two were playing a trick on him, Punkin’ Puss stays in the hills to exact his revenge.

S1E13 - Groovey Movie 1964-02-11

A director has a hard time finding a gorilla for his movie. At first Magilla is ecstatic to be starring in a movie, but after being attacked, he tells the director the only way he will stay in the movie is if they continue filming at his home in the pet shop.

S1E14 - TV Show 1964-02-11

A team wanting to make a movie on a budget, using a real sheriff in a real town. Ricochet recommends Bullhead Buller as the robber, he gets in a spot when he really robs the bank. Ricochet re-captures Bullhead, the movie producer talks him into letting him out to finish, but if he escapes again, the producer has to finish his sentence.

S1E15 - Cat Nipped 1964-02-11

While traveling, a lion falls out of his train and gets a thorn in his paw. He screams, Mushmouse comes and helps. The lion promises to help him if he can get some food. While getting the lion food, Punkin’ Puss attacks to show off for his girlfriend. The lion starts attacking Punkin’ Puss, whos so scared that he jumps on the train to get far away.

S2E1 - Bird Brained 1965-09-11

Mr. Peebles buys a love bird for the store and Magilla is left in charge while he goes to look for a mate for it. It doesn’t take long for Peep-Peep to find a way out of the shop. Magilla takes it upon himself to catch the bird and bring him back to the pet shop.

S2E2 - Will o’ The Whip 1965-09-11

Ricochet and Droop-a-Long try to catch "The Whip" before he can cause trouble in town. After the Whip robs the bank and does his best to get away before the sheriff and his deputy can catch him, Ricochet and Droop-a-Long fail a few times before they decide to use a whistle to catch the Whip and cart him off to jail.

S2E3 - Pep Hep 1965-09-11

Mushmouse decides to start taking pep pills to boost how fast he can now run. Mushmouse decides change the rules of his feud with Punkin’ Puss to make him the victim. Punkin’ Puss gets his hands on Mushmouse’s “Speedo” pep pills, and tries to become as fast as Mushmouse, but his plan backfires when he takes too many pills.

S2E4 - Circus Ruckus 1965-09-18

Tired of feeling unloved by, Magilla joins the circus. As Magilla stars as the circus’ main attraction, he begins to miss his life at the pet store, especially after having to perform several dangerous acts. Magilla returns home, ultimately making Mr. Peebles and the neighborhood children every happy.

S2E5 - Cactus Ruckus 1966-09-18

Ricochet tells Droop-a-Longs nephew Tag-a-Long about the legend of how he met up with a Giant on top of a mesa after the bank was stolen. Ricochet then tells how he was able to catch the Giant and how he was turned into the mountain. Tag-a-Long asks if the story really happened, Ricochet admits he stretched the truth a bit.

S2E6 - Shot At And Missed 1965-09-18

Mushmouse moves to California for a cushy-mouse job. At first he thinks that playing “cat and mouse” will be fun, but the fancy cat abuses him in modern ways, he begins missing his feuding days. Punkin’ Puss also missing Mushmouse goes and bring him home, and happily returns with his friend.

S2E7 - Camp Scamps 1965-09-25

Magilla runs away from the pet store and goes to "Camp Kitchy Gooney" with a group of junior rangers.

S2E8 - The Purple Mask 1965-10-04

After Ogee tells a friend that the Purple Mask will be coming to her house to meet her, he doesn’t believe her and asks if he can go over to meet him. However, she gets a letter from the super hero canceling his visit. At seeing how heartbroken Ogee is as a result, Magilla decides to dress up as the Purple Mask to help Ogee out of her predicament.

S2E9 - Love at First Fight 1965-10-09

When a zoo gorilla named "Matilda Gorilla" is lonely the zoo keepers bring Magilla to the zoo to keep her company.

S2E10 - Pet Bet 1965-10-16

Ogee borrows Magilla and brings him to school for a "Pet Contest" where he competes in with a dog named "Horatio".

S2E11 - Makin' With the Magilla 1965-10-23

Magilla goes to a beach party and takes up surfing.

S2E12 - High Fly Guy 1965-10-30

Mr. Peebles sends Magilla to the store to buy bananas, where he decides to ride the childrens airplane ride in front of the store. However Magilla plugs the airplane ride into "high-voltage" and the little plane takes off.

S2E13 - Deep Sea Doodle 1965-11-06

After Phoebe the pet goldfish gets sick Mr. Peebles sends Magilla to take Phoebe to "Oceanland" for a checkup. While the fish is getting a checkup, Magilla is causing mayhem throughout Oceanland.

S2E14 - That Was the Geek That Was 1965-11-13

When Mr. Peebles sends Magilla to get a package. Magilla returns with a rare South American “Geek” bird, and is put in charge of keeping an eye on it. The bird is able to make itself disappear out of situations, Magilla gets into trouble with people around town when he tries to save the bird.

S2E15 - Rapid Romance 1965-11-13

Ricochet decides to bring in Slap Jack Rabbit to impress Bunny Hugs. They arrive at the hideout Bunny tries to stop his “violent” ways and Ricochet’s attempts to make Bunny understand. He goes back to his office to think of a way to get the bad guy, and learns that Slap and Bunny just got married.

S2E16 - The Mouse from S.O.M.P. 1965-11-13

Mushmouse takes his mind off his problems by watching The Mouse from S.O.M.P. and sees a commercial to buy his own S.O.M.P. kit, to fight Punkin’ Puss. However, the plan backfires when Punkin’ Puss orders a S.O.M.C. outfit himself. After fighting with their new tools, the duo decides to stop and watch the show together.
