Awoken to the sound of his dead mother cooking, Moni has a freak-out and throws everything at her. Hana arrives to witness her brother fighting with himself.

An unwelcome Moni arrives at Hanas hens dress fitting at the request of Sila; an arrogant uncle Pika re-establishes his power in the family and over a vulnerable Moni.

Moni shows up at Hanas wedding uninvited, but with a longing to make things right. After a tearful goodbye to his mother, Tina returns to the Ancestors, and Hana and Moni finally begin to heal the vā between them.
