This episode looks at the varying expectations of four teams coming into Womens EURO from different viewpoints; first time participants, defending champions, serial under-achievers, and the tournament favourites. Things take a dramatic twist though, as just as the tournament starts three of the four protagonists suffer tournament-ending injuries and the fourth player misses 3 games due to COVID. Featuring interviews with Spains Alexia Putellas, Frances Marie Antoinette Katoto, Northern Irelands Simone Magill and Vivianne Miedema of the Netherlands.

In the final episode, the series looks to the future of women’s football. The episode captures the current state of play and where the game could grow from here. Through showcasing the final of Womens EURO it is also an opportunity to discuss how records have been broken and will continue to be made going forward. In the final instalment a wide selection of returning characters contribute, including winning captain Leah Williamson who sits down in the interview chair moments after lifting the trophy. Nadine Kessler, Alex Scott, Lise Klaveness also return, plus ex-France international Laure Boulleau gives her view on the importance of the media in the future of the game.
