Lee Ho-su returns home and runs into Yu Mi-ji, whos flailing through life. He convinces her to visit her twin, Yu Mi-rae, who is quietly suffering.

Mi-ji stops at nothing to persuade the restaurant owner to sell her shop. Meanwhile, Ho-su deals with being iced out after angering his boss.

Ho-sus sudden revelation leaves Mi-ji unsure about their dynamic. Meanwhile, Mi-rae struggles over swirling rumors about her and Han Se-jin.

Ho-su makes a surprise visit to Mi-rae, demanding answers. But when an incident draws Mi-ji back to their hometown, their web of lies deepens.

Mi-ji and Mi-rae swap back places—forcing Mi-ji to temporarily move in with Ho-su. Mi-rae returns to her company, only to confront her past yet again.

Ho-sus health takes a sudden turn, forcing him to reevaluate his relationship with Mi-ji. Meanwhile, Mi-rae takes a bold step toward the future.
