Joan of Arc fervently believed that St. Catherine, St. Margaret and St. Michael appeared to her, and told her that she would be the one to deliver her home country of France from the Hundred Years’ War.

In the twilight years of the Roman Empire a soldier named Sebastian serves in the Praetorian Guard under the Emperor Diocletian; the Empire is declining and Diocletian is looking to restore it to glory.

In the early 13th century, Francis, once wealthy and frivolous, is transformed by war. Answering Jesus call to "rebuild my church," he forms a brotherhood and preaches a life like Christ.

Mary Magdalene, once tormented, finds healing with Jesus of Nazareth. Freed from demons, she becomes his devoted follower, witnessing his ministry, crucifixion, and resurrection.
