The flooding is a serious threat to the orchestras future, and Helene is confronted with a face from her past. Meanwhile, rumours about her husbands affair and her mothers death circulate.

Taking advantage of a fainting spell by Helene, Leopold replaces her. Musicians threaten to strike, Rafael threatens to withdraw funding, and Helene fears she is a danger to those close to her.

Selena has serious problems and Helene goes to Selenas mother to find out about her own past. But time is running out as the final concert is looming, so Helene must play her last card.
