Handmade in Japan

On the island of Kyushu in Japan, one of the countrys last remaining families of Samurai sword makers are continuing a tradition their ancestors began nearly three centuries ago.

Follows one of Japans most famous family of potters - the Hamadas. They have turned Mashiko into a major centre for ceramics and recently played a major role in saving the industry following the 2011 earthquake.
