Simon Reeve travels through the remote and little-visited north east of South America, from Venezuela to French Guiana.

Simon travels from the ancient city of Machu Pichu in Peru to La Paz in Bolivia, the highest capital city on Earth, visiting cocaine farms and gold mines along the way.

Simon travels from Chile’s Atacama Desert and follows the Andes mountains to Patagonia before ending up in the most southerly inhabited region on earth, Tierra Del Fuego.
