Walking and Talking

Kathy Burkes comedy based on her teenage years in Islington, north London, starring Ami Metcalf and Aimee-Ffion Edwards. The story begins in 1979, as Kathy dreams of becoming a music journalist after being told she is too ugly to be an actress. Meanwhile, her best friend Mary is thrilled to score a date with an 18-year-old man who can get her into gigs and the pub.

Kath and Mary end up hitching a ride with an ice cream van man on their way to a haunted house. Angry Nun ruins Pretty Nuns excitement about a trip.
