Pete versus Life

Pete claims that he wont travel on an aircraft end up inadvertently impressing a young lady with his commitment to green issues. Pete realises that he is going to have to make changes to his lifestyle if he wants to sustain the relationship.

When Pete attends an art auction he meets an attractive older lady and they hit it off. He sonn finds that being a toy boy though results in complications.

Pete finally gets a decent sports writing job but its on the basis of a pretend relationship with his best mates girlfriend. Problems ensue when an office romance blossoms.

Pete is back with his ex-girlfriend, Chloe, and is desperate to make a good impression. Unfortunately, Petes dad, Frank, turns up on his doorstep after deciding that he and Petes mum should have a break from each other.

Pete wins some tickets to see the hit musical Mamma Mia! and, after acquiring a lovely leather jacket from a bag outside a charity shop, manages to find a date, Helene. However, Helene is clearly more intelligent than Pete, which doesnt bode well for our intellectually challenged hero.

Pete starts dating a new girlfriend, Tilly, who believes that UFOs are of alien origin. All is going well until Pete discovers that Chloe, the one that got away, is going out with his nemesis, Jake.
