Everyone's a Critic

A group of everyday Australians become art critics as they explore the works of the National Gallery of Victorias Australian Collection housed in the Ian Potter Centre.

This week the critics visit the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV), Melbourne. Founded in 1861, the NGV is the oldest and most visited gallery in Australia.

The critics visit Heide Museum of Modern Art in Melbourne, to view art by Albert Tucker, Jenny Watson, Arthur Boyd and Sidney Nolan.

Our critics explore the Lyon Housemuseum in Melbourne, the first space in the world designed as both a family home and a public gallery. They view art by Patricia Piccinini, Polly Borland, Callum Morton and Constanze Zikos.

Our critics visit the National Gallery of Victorias Australian Collection. Housed in the Ian Potter Centre it includes works by Frederick McCubbin, John Brack, Albert Tucker and Grace Cossington Smith.
