Before OJ Simpson was infamous, he was the most famous American Footballer as well as an actor, spokesperson and broadcaster. He was worth nearly ten million dollars, and brought in nearly a million more per year. But on the night of June 12, 1994, OJ Simpson’s life Took a dramatic turn, one that ended up costing him millions of dollars.

He shot to fame in 2012 after becoming the first man to compete in both the Paralympic Games and Olympic Games in London. His two J-shaped prosthetics earned him the moniker, “The Blade Runner.” He is dashing, rich and famous; he can seemingly do no wrong. But on the night of February 14, 2013, his gilded life turns dark when he fatally shoots his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

On May 4, 2001 the new wife of actor Robert Blake, Bonnie Lee Bakley, is shot to death in the couple’s car. Blake claims she was attacked while the actor momentarily returned to a nearby restaurant to retrieve his gun. Almost immediately, rumours begin to circulate about their short lived marriage. It was no secret that although newlyweds, the couple were far from lovers.
