At the Gronty housing estate, the militia finds bodies of a young prostitute and a local communist activist. Journalist Witold Wanycz doesnt believe in the official version of events. He seeks the truth with the help of twentysomething years old Piotr.

The trace leads Piotr to the local butcher. Maybe hes behind the murder? At the same time, Witold Wanycz becomes more interested in the suicide of two teenagers. Hes got his personal reasons for it.

Piotr tracks the alleged killer. Wanycz learns the truth about the teenagers’ death. Both tragedies are connected. Everything is related to the past.

Jass begins to suspect the embankment didn’t break by itself, and Zarzycki wants to write an article about what happened in the forest after the war.

The police decide to close the case of the dead teen, but Jass isn’t satisfied with the result. Her investigation leads to a retired militia officer.

When Jass and Mika pressure a suspect to reveal who’s behind the breaking of the embankment, the information brings them closer to the teen’s killer.

Mika asks for Jass help while she recovers. After Wanda leaves on a class trip, Zarzycki and Joannas weekend alone is interrupted.
