The Brady Bunch

In the series opener, Mike Brady, a widower with three boys, marries Carol Martin, a widow with three girls. Just as the minister says "I do" the boys dog, Tiger gets loose and chases the girls cat through the wedding party. Chaos breaks loose which prompts Carol and Mike to yell at their kids to control their pets. Guilt over yelling at their kids comes into play later during Mike and Carols honeymoon.

Cindy has been cast as the fairy princess in the school play. Shes excited that her mom and new dad will be able to see her in the production until she learns she can only invite one parent. Torn between who she should choose, Cindy fakes an injury to get out of being in the play.

Jan comes down with a mysterious allergy and Carol and Alice try to determine just what is causing it. They deduce that the cause is Tiger, the family dog. Or is it?

When Cindys doll, Kitty Karry-All turns up missing, she accuses Bobby. This leads to a mock trial with Alice as the judge to determine Bobbys guilt or innocence. Then later Bobbys kazoo turns up missing and he blames Cindy.

With nine people in the house, Mike gets frustrated when he can never get any time on the phone for himself. He decides to install a second phone line, but that only makes the problem worse. Thanks to one of Alices ideas, Mike decides to install a pay phone in the family room.

Both Greg and Marcia rush home after school with the news that theyre both running for student body president. May the best candidate win, as the boys and girls each take sides and soon each one of them is accusing the other of sabotage.

Peter comes home from school with the measles, so naturally, Carol calls the doctor, her doctor, who happens to be a woman. Meanwhile, Mike calls his doctor, a man. Soon all the kids come down with the measles and the household is in an uproar in yet another battle of the sexes, as the girls want a female doctor and the boys want a male doctor.

The Brady family learns that a trading stamp company is going out of business. A fight breaks out over who should get all of the saved stamps, the boys or the girls. If the girls get them, theyll buy a sewing machine and if the boys get them, theyll by a rowboat.

When Greg begins constant daydreaming and his grades start to drop the Bradys quickly think something is wrong. They soon deduce he has puppy love, for a certain girl named Linda. However, they are having an incredibly hard time finding the right Linda but soon the Bradys quickly learn just who this Linda is.

Carol is out of town visiting her sick Aunt Mary and Alice is all prepared to take care of the Brady home. However, she sprains her ankle, after tripping on Chinese checkers, putting Mike and the kids in charge of the household duties. Meanwhile, her boyfriend Sam finds himself in a dilemma over whether or not to take someone else to the upcoming Meatcutters Ball.

While shopping at Driscolls Toy Store, Peter looks up to see a wall about to fall on a little girl. He quickly pushes her out of the way. This leads to immediate media attention and Peter is named a hero. However, Peter lets all the attention go to his head, annoying his friends and his brothers and sisters.

With constant complaints about the size of the house bombarding Mike and Carol, Mike puts the house up for sale and looks into buying a new one. Immediately after this, the Brady house seems to be haunted.

Jan receives a mysterious locket in the mail with no indication of who sent it. While the Bradys are trying to figure out who sent it, the locket mysteriously vanishes.

Mike and Carol decide to allow Greg and Marcia babysit for the younger Bradys one evening when they go out for the evening and Alice is out with Sam.

Gregs history project is a home movie about the pilgrims with the rest of the Bradys clan as the cast. However, soon the other Bradys take over and pretty soon Greg loses control of his project.

Greg gets his first job as an office boy at Mikes architectural firm. However, he places his job in jeopardy when he carelessly loses some important designs.

A bully named Buddy Hinton has been making fun of Cindys lisp. So in order to defend her, Peter tries to learn how to defend himself.

Cindy has become somewhat of a tattletale leading Alice to get in a fight with Sam and the other siblings leaving her out of their activities.

Peter breaks Carols favorite vase on the eve of a camping trip that hes looking forward to. So in order for him to go on the trip, the other Brady siblings unknowingly each confess.

Jan and Cindy catch Greg smoking with some friends. This leads to them telling Marcia who in turn tells Mike and Carol.

When Bobby gets a set of drums he drives the family up the wall. Meanwhile, Peter is made fun of for being in the glee club by his football teammates.

Greg, tired of the antics of his younger siblings, thinks he should have his own room. Mike allows Greg to turn his den into his own room. This also leads to Greg dressing a whole new way and talking a whole new way, including calling his parents by their first names.

After witnessing a magician performing a disappearing act, Cindy refuses to sleep with the lights off. Meanwhile, Peter begins to develop a magic act and a reluctant Cindy agrees to be his assistant.

The Brady family goes all out to try to save a neighborhood park from being built on. This puts Mikes job in jeopardy since his company is the firm in charge of the construction.

Carol is secretly writing an article about life with the Brady Bunch for Tomorrows Woman Magazine. But soon after sending the article in, she gets a rejection letter.

After escaping the jail cell, the Brady finally arrive in the Grand Canyon and set up camp. Later, the family is thrown into a panic, when Bobby and Cindy get lost in the canyon while chasing and Indian boy.

Greg buys his first car for $100 from his friend Eddie who made the car into something its not. Finding that he has been stuck, Greg attempts to do the same thing Eddie did, when he tries to sell the car.

Convinced he doesnt have personality, Peter goes all out to try to get one. After imitating celebrities, Peter decides to try a funny personality in which he stocks up on jokes and plans to show his new personality off at a party.

A commercial producer discovers the Brady family while they are grocery shopping, one afternoon. He quickly wants them to be in a laundry soap commercial and soon the problem is whether or not to do the commercial since they dont use the product.

Tired of being in Marcias shadow, Jan is determined to do something that Marcia never did. However, Jan becomes more depressed when she fails to make the pom-pom team and her friend makes the squad. Then she wins first prize in the essay contest and finds out her teacher made a mistake in scoring.

Marcia makes a promise that she will get Davy Jones to perform at the prom. A promise she quickly learns is going to be very difficult to keep, since trying to get a hold of him is almost impossible.

When Bobby and Cindy are not invited to a wedding because theyre too young, they set out to do something important. Their goal, break a teeter-totter record.

Greg, wanting to make a record, books a recording studio and plans on singing a song with his siblings. However, when Peters voice begins to change, his hopes of recording his planned song are dashed.

Bobby bets Greg that he cant do twice as many chin-ups as him. Greg, confident hell win sits back while Bobby practices. However, Greg is totally unprepared when he looses and Bobby begins taking advantage of the terms of winning.

Alice has decided to take a well deserved vacation, but feeling like shes deserting the Brady family, she calls in her cousin, Emma. The Bradys are in for a big surprise when she turns to household into an army barracks.

For a joke, Molly Webber, a plain Jane, is nominated for hostess on Banquet Night. This practical joke sends Marcia on a mission to transform Molly into a knockout and she succeeds but discovers she may have succeeded to much when she finds herself running against her.

Mike has to check on the construction of a building that his construction firm is building and it so happens the building is in Hawaii, so he takes the whole family along. However, ancient Hawaiian superstition begins to plague the family when Bobby discovers a ancient taboo idol that brings bad luck to those who touch it. Part 1 of three.

An archeologist traps the boys in the caves at the burial ground and takes them hostage insisting they tell him where they found the idol. Meanwhile, Jan, Marcia and Cindy debate on whether or not to tell Mike and Carol, the boys whereabouts when they fail to come back for dinner.

One afternoon, Jan brings her friend, Kerry home and introduces her to her family. Kerry quickly makes the biggest impression on Peter who wants Gregs advice on landing a girl. This leads to Greg playing Cyrano for Peter, however, Kerry mistakenly thinks Greg is the one who has feelings for her.

Marcia and Gregs high school is putting on Family Frolics activity which is a type of variety show with the students and their families providing the entertainment. This leads Marcia to talk Carol into performing a routine with her while Greg and Mike collaborate on their own.

In a paper for English class, Greg writes about wanting to follow in his dads footsteps and become an architect. When Mike, reads the paper, he is ecstatic and goes all out encouraging him unknown to him Greg just picked whatever career to write the paper. Meanwhile, Peter and Jan also explore careers.

Greg is crazy for his latest girlfriend, Jennifer but things get difficult for him when he learns that both Jennifer and Marcia are competing for head cheerleader and he just happens to be one of the judges.

Marcia falls for Dr. Vogel, the familys new dentist. When Dr. Vogel asks Mike if Marcia would be interested in doing some babysitting for his kids, she misinterprets it for him asking her out on a date.

Bobby mentions to Mike and Carol that Greg was in a near car accident on the freeway due to the fact that he was reading the cover jacket of a new record. This leads Mike and Carol to suspend Gregs car privileges for a week on the eve of a big date with his girlfriend Rachel.

The principal calls home to alert Mike and Carol to the fact that Bobbys playing Jesse James at school. This leads Mike and Carol to learn just how obsessed Bobby about his "idol" and try to dissuade him from worshiping a cold hearted killer.

Peter is ecstatic when he gets a job at Martinellis bike shop. However, his wanting to do a thorough job inhibits his speed and work begins piling up as well as customers begin to customers demand their bikes. This leads Mr. Martinelli to give Peter the axe.

Both Robert Reed puts in double duty as Grandpa Brady as does Florence Henderson when she portrays Grandma Hutchins in an episode where the Brady kids play matchmakers and try to get Grandpa Brady and Grandma Hutchins together. However, their efforts may all be for naught when an argument erupts between Grandma and Grandpa during a romantic dinner.

When the family cleans out the attic, both Greg and Marcia realize what a great room it would be and they both begin fighting over who gets it. This leads to yet another battle between the sexes.

Joe Nameth guest stars as himself in this episode where Bobby lies to his friends when he tells them that he knows Joe Nameth. This leads Cindy to make up a bogus letter stating that Bobby is dying and his last wish is to meet the football star.

After Bobby defends Millicent at school she rewards him with a kiss and he immediately sees sky rockets. This leads him to try to kiss her again but after seeing those sky rockets again, she delivers the news that she may have the mumps.

Greg becomes the person who has to house Raquel, a goat who happens to be the rival schools mascot, after him and his teammates swipe her in retaliation after the other team swiped their mascot. Things get out of control when Raquel proves to be hard to handle, easy to feed and not easy to catch.

After Bobby pushes Peter out of the way of a falling ladder, Peter volunteers to be Bobbys ""slave for life."" However, Bobby begins to take advantage of the situation which yet again leads to discord in the Brady household.

Jan becomes convinced she is a "no talent loser" after she fails to make it into a ballet recital which follows with her totally dropping out of ballet and on to tap dancing which totally drives the Brady family crazy.

Marcia and Jan mistakenly overhear Sam and Alice discussing elopement and jump to the conclusion that Sam and Alice are secretly planning to. This leads the Brady family to begin planning a wedding reception.

The Bradys friends, the Kellys are in the middle of adopting one little boy and soon find themselves adopting a total of three boys all of different ethnic backgrounds and they soon find themselves dealing with racist neighbors.

After meeting an astronaut, Bobby and Peter begin wondering about life on other planets. Their wonder turns to excitement when they claim to have spotted a UFO and camp out in the backyard to get it on film.

Peter is stunned after he runs into a boy who looks exactly like him at school. His look alike comes in handy when Peter inadvertently makes two dates for the same night, one with Michelle and one that he forgot he promised with the niece of Mikes boss.

Marcia plants a bogus story in her diary to bait Cindy after she gets fed up with Cindys nonstop snooping. The bait is a story about Marcia contacting a talent scout after submitting a picture of Cindy and the talent scout wants Cindy to be the next Shirley Temple.

Bobby, wanting to get rich quick, begins selling bottles of hair tonic and sells a bottle to Greg. However, Bobby runs for his life after the tonic turns Gregs hair orange, just days before his high school graduation.
