In the Long Run

Walter receives a letter from his mother telling him his younger brother Valentine is coming from Sierra Leone to live with him. Valentines imminent arrival causes a stir on the estate, especially with Walters wife Agnes, who believes he may be a bad influence.

Agnes and Kirsty discover that one of their neighbours has passed away and are determined to do something to help the elderly residents. Meanwhile Valentine hopes that open trials at Leyton Orient will provide him with a better career.

Agnes gets her provisional driving license, but neither of the brothers are on giving her lessons. Valentines love life takes a knock, while a romantic weekend away for Bagpipes and Kirsty leads to big changes.
