S1E1 - Pilot (1) 1996-04-21

We begin in 1969 with Winston and Derek Rayne driving in their car, in the rain. They end up at a cave. Winston goes in, while Derek is told to remain in the car. Inside the cave, Winston finds a sepulcher (a wooden box). He opens the sepulcher and a demon skeleton emerges, which tries to drag Winston back in sepulcher, however, Derek runs in and manages to close the box. The demon is trapped back inside. However, Winston dies, but before he does, he gives Derek his Legacy ring. Now in the present day, we arrive at the Luna foundation, an artifact finding organisation. Derek owns the Luna Foundation, along with Nick, Alex and Julia, who also live in the house. As a new artifact is presented to Derek, he gets a vision of a young girl in a graveyard with a wooden box, which looks similar to the one that Winston opened. Derek assembles Nick, Alex and Julia in a control room, in which to get to, you must walk through an invisible wall. Behind the wall is the heart of the Legacy - a room fu

S1E2 - Pilot (2) 1996-04-21

Alex has telephoned Derek and Nick and told them where Julia is. They headed to the antique store looking for her. Meanwhile, the possessed antique store owner goes to Rachels place. He tells her that he has fixed the box. She opens it and a bright white light emerges, appearing to hypnotize Rachel. The antique owner then turns into Rachels dead husband, Patrick. The two of them proceed to kiss and eventually have sex. However, during sex, he changes back into his original form. Rachel screams and Derek and Nick, who are close by, hear her screams. When Nick bursts in Rachels room, the demon runs, Nick pursues it into a field and kills it. Once the demon is destroyed, Nick glances over to a cross placed in the middle of the field. When he gets closer, he notices that it is Julia on the cross, - dead. Nick breaks down in tears.

S1E3 - Sins of the Father 1996-04-26

The episode begins with a young boy screeming from inside his bedroom. The door is locked and his mother cant get in. When the police arrive, she tells them that her husband is in the room beating her/his son up. The police break down the door and take the husband away. David tells his wife that it wasnt him who beat up his son in the bedroom, but it was some un-forseen force. And that Michael is still in danger. The next morning Derek goes to visit David at his home, David has been bailed out of prison by his father. Derek heard about the arrest and wanted to see if it was true. David tells Derek that it wasnt him. David shows Derek a scar on his chest which he claimed he received at the hands of this un-forseen force who attacked Michael. It turns out though, that David was drunk last night. Derek asks David if Rachel will be ok to examine Michael. David agrees. At the Legacy House, Nick immediatley jumps to the conclusion that it is child abuse, however, Derek is not convinced

S1E4 - Town Without Pity 1996-05-03

The episode begins in a religious driven small village. a church service has just ended and a man makes a run for the woods. He finds a bridge in the woods and begins to cross it, as he crosses the bridge he gets stopped by some strange invisible force. On the bridge a Reverend approaches him, places his hand on the mans forehead, which kills him. (Obviously people are not allowed to leave the village). At the Legacy House, Nick comes in the conference room and tells Derek that he has uncovered some information on a lost colony from 50 years ago. Nick wants to investigate what happened to it. Derek persuades Nick to take Rachel along. We find that Rachel has had some kind of mid-life break-down, she cant seem to handle and understand what she has witnessed in the last several weeks. She reluctantly agrees to go with him. Nick and Rachel approach the bridge which the man at the start of the episode, died on. They cross the bridge and enter some kind of portal. They seem to be unaware

S1E5 - The Tenement 1996-05-10

As Alex prepares to take slum landlord Kyle Vance to court, she experiences a vision of a red-haired woman in the decaying tenement building. Then, on the witness stand, she finds herself compelled to insist the judge sentence Vance to stay in the building until he completes needed repairs. Later, realizing that an evil force controlled her actions, Alex traces the buildings tragic history. Disturbed by what she learns, Alex returns to the tenement to help fight the sensual manifestation of evil that inhabits Vances crumbling family legacy.

S1E6 - The Twelfth Cave 1996-05-17

The Episode begins in the desert where a team of surveyers are digging in a cave. One of the men there finds a jar buried deep underground. He opens the jar and finds a scroll inside, he opens the scroll, and the writing on the scroll glows red. He seems to become hypnotised by it. He then murders his two colleagues. In the Legacy House, Derek tells the team that an old friend, Randolph Hitchcock, wants to donate an ancient artefact to the Luna Foundation. He wants to meet Derek and the rest of the team than night. When Randolph arrives, Derek tells the other Legacy members that Randolph was once a member of the Legacy, but he was forced out years ago. Randolph gives Derek the jar from the desert. Derek opens the jar and takes out the scroll. Randolph wants the Legacy to examine and preserve the scroll. On a dock, we see a man wearing a mask, holding a silver cross. back at the Legacy, Philip begins to examine the scroll. Derek tells Nick that he and Randolph were once best friends, at

S1E7 - Man in the Mist 1996-05-24

The episode begins with a sea ship in trouble. A telescope smashes which releases a man. At the San Fransisco dock, a man appears out of the mist and heads into a bar, he stands in a puddle if water and it freezes, the bar then freezes, he shouts the name ""Carolyn"" and then collapses. He has been taken to the local hospital. There, the machines freeze and the hospital beds also freeze. There is a sort of mini-earthquake. Rachel arrives at the hospital to examine him. The Doc shows Rachel a book that he had on him, a 19th Century book in perfect condition. Rachel briefly meets him, but he escapes. He runs out the hospital and notices a toy boat in a shop window, he begins to have visions of the trouble ship from the start of the ep. Rachel and Alex, go to the dock/bar where this man collapsed. There is another mini-earthquake, Rachel knows that he is near-by. They meet up with him, and Rachel tells him that she will help him remember his past. They call him John Doe. At the Legacy House

S1E8 - Ghost in the Road 1996-05-31

The episode begins with Nick in a bar. There is a couple sitting next to him. They begin to have an argument. Nick begins to talk to the woman, and her boyfriend gets jealous. Nick and the boyfriend get into a fight, Nick punches him to the ground. The couple then leave. On their way home in a car, Jerry starts slapping Wendy, she gets out of the car and walks away, he reverses into her and places her in the car boot. He then pushes the car over a cliff. Several months later, Nick is driving up that same road. He sees a woman standing in the middle of the road. He gives her a ride. He recognises her from the bar. The next morning (they were driving all night), Nick drops her off at a Caravan site, however, she dissapears. Nick asks this elderly couple if they have seen her. The couple tell Nick that Wendy has been dead for five months. Nick looks shocked ! At the Legacy House, Derek and Rachel discover a secret room behind a cupboard. They find a statue of Jesus Christ. S1E9 - Doppleganger 1996-06-07

The episode begins with Derek having a dream. He is in a coffin, at first dead, with all the Leagcy members standing over him. He wakes, but no one notices. He is then in an Egyptian tomb, lying on a stone table. A woman cuts open his chest, he wakes up. In his bedroom, he sees a young girl, Kali. She asks his, ""Are you the one"". She attacks him, and tells him to forget what he saw, that this is only a dream. Kali moves over to a picture on Dereks table, a picture of Rachel and Kat, Kali looks at Kat and smiles. (A sinister smile). The next morning at Clairemont School, Kat is beginning school. She gets teased by older girls and runs away. In the bushes, Kali appears and tells Kat that she is her new best friend. Kali attacks the other girls with an invisible force. Rachel is called to the school to collect Kat. Shes been suspended because of what happened to the other girls. Kali appears in the school corridors, but Rachel cant see her, only Kat. She persuades Kat to get Rachel to

S1E10 - The Substitute 1996-06-14

The episode begins in a Catholic school. A geek is being bullied by the school jock, Brad, in the library. The geek manages to evade Brad and finds an ancient black magic book. Later Joe (the geek) and two of his friends enter a morgue. They find a jar with a preserved hand inside, they take the hand out and lay it on the floor. They light candles around it and perform a ritual. Slowly, the hand comes to life, the other two run off, Joe stays. The next day, at the Legacy House, Philip is asked to go to a school, where a faculty member has vanished without a trace in the last 24 hours. At the school, the two boys who were with Joe seem shuck up and a bit frightened still. Joe, on the other hand, seems extremely calm. Philip prepares to leave for the school, when Nick tells him that he is going two. (I think Nick wanted to work with Philip on his last mission as part of the Legacy). At the school, a new teacher arrives (to cover for the missing teacher), he introduces himself as Mr

S1E11 - Do Not Go Gently 1996-06-21

Liz Barrow, an old friend of Nicks, is with her fiance when she has an asthma attack and falls into a coma. She finds herself in a dark mysterious place and sees a young boy killed by a large monstrous shape. At that moment she awkes and watches as the boy in the next bed, the same boy from her dream, dies. She gets her fiance, Kevin. to contact Nick and get him to iunvestigate the hospital. Hoping he can find out what is going on there before she to falls vitim to the monster in her dreams.

S1E12 - The Crystal Scarab 1996-06-28

Clayton wants tosave his daughter, Samantha, who has a fatal illness. Clayton buys a scarab and a ring from a merchant. The scarad, he is told, will heal whatever it touches. However, the ring needs the life force of a human to work. Clayton puts the ring on, the life force is sucked out of him and it put into Samantha. She is now cured, and Clayton, who looks half dead, runs away. Samantha and Clayton have known Derek for years. He allows Sam to stay at the Legacy House, while they try to find Clayton and work out how Sam has been cured so quickly. Later that night, Sam collapses, Clayton, has no more life force to give. She needs another source. Sam is now back in the hospital, in a coma. The scarab has let Clayton live, so that he can pass the ring onto another host. On the dock, a robber steals the ring and puts it on. The ring draws life out of him. In the hospital, Sam is once again cured. Clayton, who has passed the ring on, is now also cured, and looks normal again. He g

S1E13 - The Bell of Girardius 1996-07-12

Miranda Blake, the curator of one of the Legacys museums, calls Derek when there is a break in at her workplace. When Alex checks the inventory she realises that the only thing missing is The Bell of Giradius, a mystical item reputed to bring the dead back to life. The questions the Legacy need to find out are where is the Bell, who took it and does the recent death of Mirandas fiance have anything to do with its disappearance?

S1E14 - Fox Spirit 1996-07-19

While checking down in the sewers a couple of city maintenance men find an ancient urn holding ashes. One of them tips the ashes out and continues on with his work. After the two men separate to work in different areasone of them is attacked by a ghostly Chinese woman. The next morning the Legacy gets a call from a Chinese friend who asks them to help investigate the circumstances behind the two missing maintenance workers.

S1E15 - The Thirteenth Generation 1996-07-26

During the 17th Century a suspected witch is tested by being dunked in water, as she goes to her death she curses the next thirteen generations of the Witchfinders family. While guest lecturing at a Boston University Derek gets involved in a series of murders/deaths that seem to involve the same family and could be connected to the long rumoured curse.

S1E16 - The Dark Priest 1996-08-02

An amulet is stolen from the Legacy house. It once belonged to a cult leader and suspected sorcerer who was killed by Nicks father, also a member of the Legacy. The two brothers who stole it are the sons of Levon Zoltar, the cult leader, and they know how to release the magical powers held in the amulet. Magics that need a human sacrifice to power them!

S1E17 - Revelations 1996-08-16

A small girl has a horrifying experience at a private school and accuses one of the teachers of being a monster. As Rachel used to go to the school the headmistress calls her up to ask her for help. She hopes that Rachel will be able to find out what really happened before the school is ruined by the scandal. As she investigates Rachel realises that she has no memories of being at the school at all! She knows she went there but can remember nothing and that begins to really worry her.

S1E18 - Bones of St. Anthony 1996-08-23

Dr. Cornell, a reknowned geneticist working at San Francisco University, is scared to death and then literally ripped apartby an unknown energy. The Legacy gets involved when a friend of Nicks who performed the autopsy calls him in. In a connecting incident Derek is investigating why a large number of church bells all rang themselves at 10.06pm the night before.

S1E19 - The Inheritance 1996-08-30

Rahel recieves a letter from her aunts lawyer informing her of her death and that as she is the last living relative she will inherit everything. She goes to her aunts funeral, with Kat, and finds that something is happening inside the house. Derek has a premonition that sometihng is going to happen to Rachel and tells her that she needs to be careful while inside the house.

S1E20 - The Signalman 1996-09-06

A psychic/supernatural occurence debunker and physicist, Dr. David Praeger, is working for the army at an old railway station & tunnel in Powderwash, Colorado. The army is planning on opening a nerve weapon disposal site nearby and he is there to find out what causes the magnetic fluctations in the area. While investigating he starts seeing the ghost of a signalman telling him to pull the switch. Alex finds out where he is after dreaming that he is in danger and, as much as they dislike the mans work the Legacy go to try and save him.

S1E21 - The Reckoning 1996-09-13

A 300 year old seer who helped out Dereks father on a number of occasions appears at the Legacy house to mysteriously warn him of a dead man who will return to life.

S1E22 - A Traitor Among Us 1996-09-20

Three senior members of the legacy arrive at the house and say that they have received a letter accusing Derek of running the house in an improper manner. Derek is put on trial at the house for several days where Nick and Rachel have to submit evidence about Derek. Things start to look very grim for Derek and when Rachel goes to see him in a room where he is kept locked up he asks her to bring him a shaving mirror and some sacred knives from the houses vault. Using the mirror he notices that one of the three people who came to put him on trial does not have a reflection in the mirror and that he always has the blinds closed before he enters a room. The trial is about to conclude with a guilty verdict where Derek is asked to make a closing speech. Derek says that for some time he has felt something wrong with the legacy, like a cancer growing among them, he reveals that it was himself who made the allegations against him so he could bring everyone together. S2E1 - The New Guard 1997-03-09

Driving down a foggy, dark road Nick and Alex nearly run down Derek. They leave their car to find out what is going on only to have Derek pull a gun on them, argue with himself about shooting his friends and then pulls the trigger on himself. With Derek critical in the Rose County Hospital, the head of the London house, William Sloan, turns up to take charge. They continue with the investigation that Derek was involved in, in Rose County itself, trying to find out what is causing the large number of suicides that have been occuring around the town. With Derek in critical condition Alex, Nick and Sloan need to do this quickly, before Derek gets the chance to finish off what he started.

S2E2 - Black Widow 1997-03-09

The legacy investigates a series of murders of all male victims who are found naked. While it seems to be a sex crime, the team realizes that a creature called a succubus, is assuming their former lovers identities to kill them.

S2E3 - Lights Out! 1997-03-14

Lat one night a large trunk is delivred to the Legacy house. It is addressed to William Sloane who was meant to be visiting his friends there. when opened the trunk is found to be full of old Scottish artifacts. Not long after the trunk has been opened strange things start happening in the house, the light bulbs keep breaking, high pitched sounds can be heard and unusual lights can be seen flying around. What the Legacy team need to work out is whether or not the trunk has anything to do with this or is it just a coincidence that the trunk arrived just before the problems started?

S2E4 - The Spirit Thief 1997-03-21

Alexa sister Tanya turns up in San Francisco to visit her. She is with her friend Daniel, an African healer/shaman. He wants Alex to join them, to help him cure people normal medicine cannot. Her friends in the Legacy dont trust him and think there is more to him and how his powers work than he is letting on.

S2E5 - The Gift 1997-03-28

Its christmastime at the Legacy house. Derek has invited Rachel and Kat to stay there for the holiday period. After Kat opens a christmas eve present with her name on it she sees the ghost of her father in the room wit her. The present turns out to be a russian doll and inside the smallest one is a very surprising, and potentially dangerous surprise.

S2E6 - Transference 1997-04-04

Steven Romero, an old patient of Rachels who was convicted of five murders and sent to Headlands Correctional Medical Facility, a place for the criminally insane, kills two men and escapes. He has always loved Rachel and she is worried that he may be planning to come looking for her. Visiting his cell Rachel and derek discover that he has been studying pagan rituals involving death and ritual sacrifice.

S2E7 - Dark Angel 1997-04-11

Its a dark and rainy night and Nick is heading back to the Legacy house when a woman runs out in front of his car. Injured and terrified, screaming about a man who is following her she is in obvious distress. Nick decides to take her back to the house with him. Derek offers her sanctuary in the house for the night and Nick as an escort in the morning. Once she has settled down in her room the four Legacy members debate over whether or not she is telling the truth, imagining things or if it is all an act to get inside the Legacy house and past the security defences.

S2E8 - Lives in the Balance 1997-04-18

Lukas Dumont arrives at the Legacy house, he is the son of an old lover of Dereks and claims to be his son. Derek believes him and tries to treat him as he wished his own father had treated him. Nick isnt convinced by the story that Lukas is telling and asks Rachel to help him find out more about Lukas and his mother.

S2E9 - Rough Beast 1997-04-25

A young patient of Rachels comes to her, terrified by nightmares she has been having of a wolf like creature attacking her family and her home. Rachel tells Derek about this and he is convinced that the creature she is dreaming of is a werewolf! They both decide to investigate further to see if his theory is true and, if so, help save the family from the beast.

S2E10 - Ransom 1997-05-02

A ghostly figure arrives at the Legacy house and tells Derek that it has his sister, Ingrid, and will exchange her for The Blood Chalice. The cHalice is an Incan artifact that is said to bestow immortality to whomever uses it to drink the blood of a still beating heart taken from a sacrifice. Derek visits the church where Ingrid is a nun and finds out that the woman who kidnapped her wore a Legacy Prefect ring. When Sloane arrives from London the number of women prefects that the Legacy have is revealed and the main suspect is soon deduced. Can Sloane and Derek find a way to find out where Ingrid is being held before she is killed and without giving away the Chalice?

S2E11 - Finding Richter 1997-05-09

The Legacy team investigate the assassination of a catholic cardinal. Nick thinks it is the work of an old special forces officer who commanded his SEAL platoon. The platoon was wiped out, almost to a man, when Richter betrayed them. Nick goes of in search of Richter by himself, to stop the killings and to get revenge for the deceased members of his squad

S2E12 - Repentance 1997-05-23

Father Callaghan is implicated in the murder of one of his parishioners, he was found by the police with her body in his arms. The body was placed there by the spirit of Eric Ravenwood, a man he refused to absolve of his crimes before he was executed by the state. He wants Philip to absolve him now or he will kill again, and again, and again...... Can Derek and the Legacy team find some way to save Philip from this vengeful spirit and from the attentions of the police.

S2E13 - The Devil's Lighthouse 1997-05-30

Point Clifton, a small town just down the coast from San Francisco, is visited by the Legacy team after Derek sees an article in the paper. At a place known locally as The Devils Lighthouse a young boy vanished and his girlfriend is blinded. The girl insists that, before she was blinded, she saw her boyfriend, Bobby, vansih into the main light of the lighthouse, pulled there by a man!

S2E14 - Lullaby 1997-06-13

Kat and some of her friends experiment with an Isis board and manage to summon a presence of some kind or other. Kat collapses but is fine the next morning. She doesnt talk much about what happened and keeps quite about what they were really doing, afraid of getting herself and her friends into trouble. Later the presence forms itself as a woman who appears inside or outside their rooms and sings lullabies to them. The ghost seems to be passive, that is until one of the girls disappears overnight!

S2E15 - Silent Partner 1997-06-20

Margaret and Laura Davis, two old friends of Derek and Nicks, return to San Franscisco. They perfrom seances and Margaret wants Nick and Derek to come along to one of them. It seems as if Laura is being taken over by a spirit, Elizabeth, that is taking control of her body when she is unconscious. Rachel suggests that they need to find out more about Elizabeth if they want to be able to help Laura.

S2E16 - Shadow Fall 1997-06-27

A young american indian boy is taken into the principals office after being jumped by two bullies. He loses his phoenix talisman during the attack and his anger appears to manifest itself as a shadow warrior. The warrior attacks first the principal and then a police detective who is pushing his mother. Thrown into a cell on assault charges his only chance of freedom is from the Luna Foundation and its interest in unusaual phenomena. Derek comes to the police station to see if he can find out whether the boy is telling the truth or not about what happened.

S2E17 - Mind's Eye 1997-07-04

A woman is being plagued by a poltergeist in her house. She calls in a spiritualist, Jeffrey Star, to help her out, unknown to her he is a fake and a conman. Her son deosnt trust him at all and calls the Legacy and Derek for help. Star is exposed as the fake he is and is thrown in a cell, where he is beaten up by a fellow inmate. After nearly dying in the cell he starts experience images in his head, he starts to believe that he know has real psychic powers. Meanwhile back at the Hoth household Derek and Alex are trying to help out and find out whether or not there really is a spirit in the house and what they can do to remove it if there is.

S2E18 - Fear 1997-07-18

Emily, a friend of Rachels, took over administrating Westview Sanitoruium 3 months ago. Since then there has been a number of strange deaths, patients dying of supposed heart failure. To help her friend Rachel agrees to get herself admitted as a patient and investigate from the inside.

S2E19 - Someone to Watch Over Me 1997-07-25

An old friend of Derek and Sloans dies in Canada. After the funeral they think that more is involved than the authorities think. A fellow professor is snooping around, they find notes written in a language the three of them created many years ago, Derek keeps getting weird flashes and Serena, the friends wife, keeps seeing a strange creature in the triangular pond in the garden. All these things lead to Derek and Sloan staying in Canada longer than they had intended so they can investigate.

S2E20 - Let Sleeping Demons Lie 1997-08-03

Sloan is on a jet on his way to San Francisco when they hit bad weather. Derek is on the phone talking to him when he suddenly loses contact and the plane vanishes from the radar. Derek and the team mobilise to find Sloan and the crew, if they survived, somewhere in the middle of a mountain range. Unknown to them one of the items Sloan had with him has released someone orsomething that is now holdong him prisoner.

S2E21 - Trapped 1997-08-10

Derek is possessed by his fathers spirit, which intends to assemble the elements to create a gateway that will allow the demons of hell to enter our world.

S2E22 - The Choice 1997-08-17

Rachel decides that she is going to take Kat and leave the Legacy. She has become increasingly worried about the danger she is putting Kat in by being a member of the team and the repercussions that that causes. The rest of the team try to persuade her otherwwise so she tells them about all the danger that Kat has been put in ever since she joined.

S3E1 - Darkness Falls (1) 1998-01-23

In New Orleans, Alex encounters an old college friend who is now a vampire. But when she is bitten she begins to transform into a vampire but the process will only be completed when she has taken her first human life.

S3E2 - Light of Day (2) 1998-01-30

Having been bitten by a vampire, Alexs transition to one will be complete as soon as she succeeds in killing the object of her blood lust -- Nick.

S3E3 - The Enlightened One 1998-02-06

Kristin arrives in San Francisco from Boston to join the groups investigation of a series of church fires. What she doesnt tell them is that she thinks her younger brother may have joined the cult that the setting the fires.

S3E4 - Stolen Hearts 1998-02-13

Rachel falls in love with a man who turns out to have achieved his success by making a pact with the Devil. At the same time, Kat comes under attack by dark forces.

S3E5 - Father to Son 1998-02-20

Nick witnessed his fathers death, but then learns that his father did not die by accident. His fathers ghost asks him to help find his murderer and avenge his death. But Nick has trouble solving the case when it comes to light that his father was abusive to him when he was a child.

S3E6 - Fallen Angel 1998-02-27

The Legacy must intervene when a dead womans spirit returns to earth from Heaven to rescue her lovers soul from Hell, not realizing the danger that he will return with new powers to commit evil.

S3E7 - Dream Lover 1998-03-06

Derek receives an ancient artifact shattered in pieces. Kristin and Alex take the task to re-assembling the package as Derek receives notice the sender, Samuel Kellig, was killed in an accident. The women discover Samuels death may not have been an accident as they begin to put the urn back together as well as piece clues to Samuels last dig. At the same time, Derek grows closer to Samuels beautifully captivating fiance...a woman whose present character doesnt fit her profile.

S3E8 - Debt of Honor 1998-03-13

Nick attends a boyhood friends military funeral and gets re-acquainted with another. After catching up and returning home Nick is called up a few days later when Joe, the deceased, begins paying John troubling visits. Nick, along with Kristins help, must find out why his friend is out for revenge against John then its up to Nick to stop Joe before his soul is doomed forever.

S3E9 - The Light 1998-03-20

S3E10 - Hell Hath No Fury 1998-04-10

After a freed cop killer is killed Derek and the team investigate when it becomes obvious it was a ritualistic murder. More importantly, the murder was done using an artifact stolen from a Legacy collection on display by a former member. Though, Det. Carmack is set against allowing the team to help he has no choice as the Legacy is set on solving the case and retrieving their stolen property. Soon the investigation leads Derek to a truth he had secretly hoped wasnt the truth...

S3E11 - Irish Jug 1998-04-17

Kat is on the job when the team is put in charge of cataloging and disbursing the bequeathed estate of Hanney Ellen Keane and Derek makes a grave error. Taking a few drinks from a cursed Irish Jug causes two neer-do-wellers escape from the Jug and possess Derek and Milo. Once the boys realize what year theyre in and the fortune the one called Derek possesses they soon decide to stay awhile but before they can enjoy the riches they must get rid of the women. Being the only one that sees the two impostors for what they are Kat must think quickly and convince Alex to help her as Rachel is nowhere to be found.

S3E12 - Metamorphosis 1998-04-24

A psychiatric patient of Rachels attacks her during a session as time progresses Rachel becomes aggressive and exceedingly paranoid. The rest of the team try to help by investigating but she keeps pushing them away. Soon they have no choice but to step in and force Rachel to again come to terms with her demons before its too late.

S3E13 - La Belle Dame Sans Merci 1998-05-29

Alex begins having dreams that cause her to sleepwalk. Grandma Rose worries for Alexs health and asks her to come home. Alex agrees and Nick accompanies her to see Rose. Kristin is reunited with her first love, world famous concert pianist, Eugene Kadar. The reunion is bittersweet as people that could influence Eugenes career begin mysteriously dying of heart attacks and his agent becomes even more controlling. Kristin chooses to ignore the problem and live her love with Eugene to the fullest until Eugene begins to spin out of control. Derek and Nick are to the rescue but Eugene may already be lost...

Unknown to them is the fact Sommerville was once a Japanase American concentration camp and that one of its former prisoners is about to imprison them. Rachel and Kristin must work together to form an escape plan while Nick and Derek quickly work from the outside to save the rest of their team.

S3E18 - Seduction 1998-07-24

With the boys out of town Alex, Rachel and Kristin are left to work on a special project. The women must uncover the secrets to a cube dating back to the Han Dynasty. Arriving to help them in this project is Nicholas Oldman but as he gets closer to each it becomes evident to at least one of them he has other plans for them and the cube.

Jeffrey Starr returns to San Francisco and his old tricks but when a psychic intervention goes awry the Legacy is called in to help. Reluctant to help Derek gives in when it becomes clear that Jefferys life is in more danger than they first realized.

S3E20 - The Last Good Knight 1998-08-07

Once again on her quest for answers relating to her fathers disappearance Kristin is on a mission. After receiving a map of the Holy Land written in archaic French and a cryptic message to meet in Istanbul Kristin is off on her own. The Legacy team must decipher the clues left on the map in order to find her and help her bring to a close a painful chapter in her life.

S3E21 - Armies of Night 1998-08-14

The Legacy is under siege and their assailants are unknown. Alex has gone for help, Nick has been taken down and away by their attackers leaving only Derek to decipher whos behind their attack. As he remembers past foes who may have come back for revenge Derek searches for Nick and guards his own back from threat. Further into his search the clues to who is trying to bring them down becomes obviously clear when Alex returns not quite herself and Derek comes face to face with the foe he should have known all along.

S3E22 - Darkside 1998-08-21

A mysterious White haired lady narrates this clip show meant to be a season ending cliff hanger. Foes from episodes past show up once again as examples of how the teams good work hasnt managed to overcome the evil that follows. Their work is hidden behind self righteous acts of hypocrisy the Lady claims as she urges one of the team members to join them...and at the end it seems shes succeeded...

Rachel performs a psychiatric evaluation on Raymond Corvus as Derek is convinced he is responsible for a series of murders identical to those he was tried and found guilty of committing. As Rachel struggles with the results of her evaluation and the knowledge it will put a man to death the team continues to research who is behind the newest harvester type murders...

S4E2 - Bird of Prey (2) 1999-03-26

Corvus was put to death but the murders continue...Alex forms an alliance with one of the victims fiance and vows they will find her killer. Derek and Nick trail a reporter on a scoop to find the killer and a close encounter with an early demise of her own...as Rachel becomes to object of the Harvesters obsession. The team must come together with all their new found information and find were this new killer keeps his layer in order to stop him before they lose one of their own to his monsterosities.

S4E3 - Vendetta 1999-04-02

A young man is mysteriously killed while at a well known local spot, a place where a woman was lynched in the 50s. His skull is crushed, but not his head, and his body is covered with what looks like electrical burns. The coroner is an old aquaintence of Dereks and he asks if Derek will come and help. He takes Kristin with him and they find a small town with a deep, dark secret.

S4E4 - The Painting 1999-04-09

A patient of Rachels mysteriously vanishes after their last session and bequeaths her a beautiful but odd painting. After learning more about the young womans disappearance and the history behind the painting itself the team becomes convinced it must be destroyed. Kats new friend decides to teach Kat the art of the craft and Kat learns new secrets about herself in the process but puts an old friends life in danger.

S4E5 - The Possession 1999-04-16

Alexs grandmother travels to San Francisco to warn her of an evil spirit/Bocor thatis after her. She gives Alex a magic charm to protect her but falls pray to the Bocors voodoo powers herself. With her grandmother now in a coma Alex does the only thing she can think of to help her... she releases Daniel Euwara, a powerful spirit, from the prison the Legacy trapped him in (see Spirit Thief)and asks him to remove the curse.

S4E6 - The Traitor (1) 1999-04-23

Alex returns after an unexpected sabbatical as the team turns on Derek when an old case is re-opened. The twenty year old evidence begins pointing towards Derek as a cold blooded killer and old witnesses can no longer rely on their own accounts to save him. As he stands firm in his innocence those closest to him, except for one, lose all confidence in their friend, mentor and Precept.

S4E7 - Double Cross (2) 1999-04-30

Franklin Cross begins his takeover of the San Francisco house of the Legacy. The team are not sure what is going on, where Derek is or whether or not to trust Cross. The investigations into Reed Horton continue while the team try to find out what has happened to Derek themselves.

S4E8 - Brother's Keeper 1999-06-04

Nicks brother, Jeremy, who died and was cremated, appears on the road in front of Nicks car. He claims to have escaped and has The Soul Chaser after him trying to take him back. After a brief altercation with The Soul Chaser Nick takes the wounded Jimmy back to the Legacy HQ with him, believing the Soul Chaser to have been killed by his own weapon. The Soul Chaser returns to our world though and tracks down the brothers. He launches an attack on the Legacy house to finally retrieve his quarry.

S4E9 - Initiation 1999-06-11

Kat is doing magic with her friend Miranda, who has shown her a few small tricks and has taken her to her secret place. Miranda tells Kat that if she touches the amulet she has given her to the heart of three other poeple then the five points of power will increase her magical prowess. Rachel, Nick and Alex are her three targets but they know something is going on. Can they find out what Miranda is up to before it is to late to save Kat?

S4E10 - Wishful Thinking 1999-06-18

A mysterious bottle is found by Milos Javitz in an old curio shop. he thinks that it could be an item that he has been searching for for years, a bottle containing Ginelle, a female genie. Before he can complete his three wishes after releasing her he is tricked into closing his eyes. She knocks him out and escapes to gain revenge on her past owners who refused to release her from her cptivity. To help him find her, and to save himself from her anger, Milos calls on his old college roomate... Derek Rayne.

S4E11 - Still Waters 1999-06-25

Alex wrestles with the guilt and grief of losing her Grandmother as Roses spirit urges her to save another from the same fate. The spirit of a young boy drowned years prior has returned to seek revenge on another and Alex must help convince the boy to resist vengeance and move on.

S4E12 - Unholy Congress (1) 1999-07-30

Excavations in boston discover what loks like a tomb buried deep underground. The digging has made an opening and when the builders examine it they release Dr. Mordecai Church from his long imprisonment. He kills them and sets about starting his own religion, recruiting young runaways as his congregation. Having no family makes leaves Church free to kill his new disciples whenever he wishes, after all who is there to complain when no one knows where they are anyway? Reed Horton soon comes across Church and recruits him for his own vendetta against The Legacy.

S4E13 - The Sacrifice (2) 1999-08-06

Hortons plans to split The Legacy apart and destroy Derek begins to work as Kristin walks out and with Mordecai Church at his side he has a powerful ally to help him finish of the rest of the team. With the Boston chapter of The Legacy being almost non-existant now it is left to Derek and Nick to find out what the evil duo are up to and stop them. They try to persuade Father Callaghan, who has been helping them out, to rejoin their fight against Horton and Church and to save The Legacy from destruction.

S4E14 - She's Got the Devil in Her Heart 1999-08-20

A couple of fisherman catch something big and heavy on their anchor. Unknowingly they have released Karen Morgan, a succubus who is in love with Nick. She uses another name and disguises herself to fall in love with Nicks friend and then starts to visit Rachel at her Doctors office. She uses both of them to make sure that she gets introduced to Nick. Meanwhile, to keep herself alive, she is finding violent men on the streets of San Francisco and sucking the life from them.

S4E15 - Body and Soul 1999-08-27

Dereks lover (Megan) is murdered in a car bombing and he and Alex pursue the killer, only to be drawn into a horrifying web of Hortons making that pits Derek and Alex against each other ? Can Derek bring himself to kill Alex or can he defeat Horton once and for all ?

S4E16 - Forget Me Not 1999-09-10

Rachel recieves a blast from the bast. While watching an old home-video Kat notices a little girl in the video that had never been there before. It turns out the little girl is named Paige, Rachels child she gave up when she was 19. Paige died some years later and is now out for revenge on Rachel, who she blames Rachel for not being there to save her. Can Nick prevent Paige from hurting Kat ? Can Rachel re-connect with Kat after this discovery, that Kat has a sister ?

S4E17 - The Portents 1999-09-17

We begin with a priest, who has sent a young lad on a mission to find out information about the Legacy House. The young lad returns with news that a gate way to hell is buried under the Legacy House. The Priest then kills the lad, as he now has what he was after. The priest sets out to be-friend Alex and Rachel (Nick and Derek are not present in this episode). He makes his way into the House where he tells them that the Gateway must be sealed, if it is not, he tells them, Rachels daughter Kat will be killed as she has been struck down with a mysterious virus. As Alex and the Preist make their way underground, the Priest attacks Alex and proceeds to make his way to find the gate and open it. Upstairs, Rachel sees Kristen, who is now an angel, who has been sent to try to stop the opening of the gate. She instructs Rachel to go and stop the priest and to have faith, no matter what. As Rachel finds Alex, they both proceed to the gate, the Priest is about to open it when he notices Rache

S4E19 - Sabbath's End 1999-10-01

Kat faces mortal danger when she resumes her friendship with an ailing Miranda. To save Kat, Rachel must find powers from the past,a past she would prefer to forget. For this episode, we learn that Miranda wants to transform herself into Kat - to inhabit Kats body. To live in Kats body. After the opening credits, Kat and Rachel have an argument and Derek tries to persuade Kat to give up magic - she disobeys, obviously. After a ritual between Miranda and Kat, Miranda tricks Kat and Miranda transfers her soul into Kats body - but before she does, Miranda reveals her true self - an elderly, dying old women who has been searching for the perfect body to transfer into. Miranda is now in control of Kat. As suspicion rises about the true identity of Kat, Alex realises that Miranda and Kat now share the the same body. In order to defeat Miranda inside Kat, Rachel volunteers to be concercrated (so that she can become a witch) As Alex and Rachel discover that the witch spell hasnt worked, Kat

S4E20 - The Mephisto Strain 1999-10-08

Alex struggles to cure Nick, and has to keep him alive, after he is infected by a Denomic parasite which makes him see evil all around him. The episode begins with Alex working in the control room when Nick bursts in through the front door. He chases after Alex, trying to kill her. She manages to find a torch and smashes it off his head and knocks him out. She ties him to his bed. He wakes up and threatens to kill her, constantly shouting and screeming that he is going to kill Alex and shouting that he can see evil all around him. We learn that he has been infected by a demon who causes him to hallucinate. This leads Nick to remember events from the last year (evil events), in which he was hurt or people around him were hurt. As Nick remembers the past events, Alex researches the Legacy database and she realises that Nick has the Mephisto Strain. With the hepl of the Database, Alex finda a cure, which heals Nick.

S4E21 - Infernal Affairs 1999-11-05

An ancient deck of tarot cards enlivens a tedious evening for Derek, Nick and Alex. However, each card underscores the high personal cost of their allegience to the Legacy. This episode, like the one previous, is in a clip based format. Nick, Derek and Alex all sit around a table in the Legacy House remembering key moments and events from the past 4 years.

S4E22 - The Beast Within 1999-11-12

Plagued by nightmares and visitations from his fathers evil spirit, Derek fears that the portal to hell has been breached. The episode begins with Derek having nightmares of his father and evil spirits, (flashback from the Pilot episode). When he awakens he goes to the library, where all of the books and files are spread all over the room, alot of them are ripped. Derek notices a specific scripture has been destroyed, which leads him to believe that the gate of hell has been breached, which is located under the Legacy House. Derek, Nick and Alex make their under the house to investigate, but everything seems fine. However, Derek is still cautious and takes precautions, he wants Nick to get as much C4 explosives as he can find. Throughout the rest of the day, Derek keeps on having visions about his eveil father.
