Five young graduates do whatever it takes to make themselves indispensable at preeminent London investment bank Pierpoint & Co. As hungry outsider Harper grapples with a decision that will gravely affect her future at the bank, she and party-boy Robert take very different approaches to their first few weeks in the bank. Meanwhile, Yasmin braves the unchecked disrespect of her superiors and Hari’s unhealthy work habits raise companywide red flags.

When Pierpoint loses a major client, the grads face their most challenging – and potentially rewarding – test to date: devising pitches to drive new business. After the dissolution of his team finds him reassigned to a disinterested new supervisor, a creative Gus partners with Robert to catch Clement’s attention. Meanwhile, as she navigates a complicated living situation with Yasmin, Harper attempts to juggle conflicting requests from Eric and Daria.

As Pierpoint is shaken by a former employees scathing exposé, Eric goes offsite for the day, prompting an unauthorized Gus to cover trades from his desk, while Harper maneuvers her way into a meeting with one of Erics coveted, disgruntled ex-clients. But when Gus and Harper both cross the line, they risk compromising their futures at the bank. Following Roberts successful first business trip, Clement treats him to a special outing, while Yasmin works her connections to land a major client meeting.

With Reduction in Force Day looming, the graduates do whatever it takes to secure final recommendations from their superiors and solidify vital client relationships. At a dinner party hosted by Yasmin and Sebastian, resentment and jealousy bubble to the surface, and Harper divulges confidential company business.

Finally forced to return to the office, Harper confronts a rapidly intensifying atmosphere under Pierpoint’s new U.S. leadership, while Robert attempts to hook a client and Yasmin receives pushback from her young recruit.

The high of landing Bloom soon wears off when Harper suddenly finds herself stuck between rivals at Rican Healthcare’s investor event — and at the mercy of Eric’s frustration. After attempting to lure her father’s business, Yasmin is forced to curry favor with Celeste. Meanwhile, unexpected doors open for Gus while tutoring Bloom’s son, Leo.

After learning of Yasmin and Jackies impending trip to Berlin, Harper attempts to land an invite for more than just business reasons. Approached about a new government position, Aurore offers a conflicted Gus a spot on her team. Meanwhile, Danny asks Robert to pursue a recent grad for a position at Pierpoint.

After receiving confirmation that the London office will merge with New York, Harper, Eric, and Rishi team up to pitch their small global force to rival banks. Just as Yasmin readies herself for her first client meeting in her new role, she becomes engulfed in a pressing issue at Pierpoint. Meanwhile, Gus leverages an opportunity for Leo.

As Pierpoint preps for an IPO, Yasmin tries to defy assumptions, Robert mismanages Lumi’s CEO, and Harper plots to get back in the game.

Eric, Yasmin, and Robert descend on the COP Climate Conference in Switzerland to display Pierpoint’s confidence in pivoting to ethical investing, where Harpers machinations threaten to disrupt the status quo.

After being summoned by a government select committee, Robert worries he’s become a pawn in a much larger battle between very powerful entities. Meanwhile, during the company’s annual charity day, Sweetpea shares a theory with Eric that could mark the beginning of the end for Pierpoint, and Yasmin wonders if being vulnerable in a relationship is worth it.

When disaster strikes during Pierpoint’s 150th anniversary celebration, Eric is summoned to the executive boardroom, while Rishi, Sweetpea, and Anraj try to save their own skins on the trading floor. Across town, Harper’s risky moves jeopardize LeviathanAlpha, while Yasmin escapes on a road trip with Robert.
