L.A. district attorney Maya Travis suffers a devastating defeat after prosecuting an A-list movie star for double murder. With her high-profile career derailed, she flees for a quieter life in rural Washington. Eight years later, when this same star is under suspicion for another murder, Maya is lured back to the DA’s office for another chance at justice.

Maya convinces an asset to wear a wire during a rendezvous with Sevvy; Ezra works to create an alibi for Sevvy and he sends his henchman, Buck, to pay a visit to Riv at his ranch.

With the discovery of a mole in the office, the entire building is put on lockdown. Elsewhere, Ezra works to cover up Sevvys injuries and keep the information contained.

Demoted to second chair, Ezra plots to bring down Angela but when Loni plants the seed about a past case being investigated, Ezra focuses his attention to Maya.

CJ has a plan to capture Mayas stalker. Elsewhere, Ezra and Sevvy follow a tip to Vegas and uncover Jessicas secret trip to a gun range.
