The same father-son coyotes seen in Camp Dog (1950) sneak into the hen-house that Pluto is guarding. A chicken yawns, putting junior to sleep, so dad comes in. Pluto wakes up and gives chase. The varmits hide in the rafters of Plutos house, and it takes some time for him to notice. Pluto and father pass a chicken and its nest back and forth a few times before Pluto substitutes junior for the chicken, tricking dad.

Pluto finds a bone - but also finds Butch the bulldog, who claims it for himself. Idea: Pluto paces off a distance, buried treasure style, and digs a large bone-shaped hole. Butch falls for it, and while hes digging deeper, Pluto almost makes off with the bone. Butch catches on just in time and chases Pluto, who ducks into a junkyard. The bone gets sucked into in a squeeze-bulb horn, which Pluto does battle with.

Marvin Martian is monitoring through his telescope a rocket launch on Earth. The rocket heads straight for him and lands on Mars. The only occupant is Bugs Bunny, lured into Cape Canaveral by a carrot and sent to Mars as an expendable astro-rabbit. Bugs is to claim Mars in the name of the Earth, but Marvin wont allow an Earth creature to contaminate his atmosphere. He trains a time-projector gun on Bugs and reverts the bunny to a Neanderthal Rabbit, who crushes Marvin with one hand.
