Masters tries to frame Smoky Moore for the murder, by planting on him the gun used in the murder by Indian Pete, but his pals Tom Cameron/The Lone Rider and Fuzzy Jones rescue him as the gang is taking him to the sheriff. After talking to Sloanes daughter, Amy, Tom is convinced that Masters is behind the killing and is also holding the old man a prisoner somewhere. He and his two pals set out to find and free Sloane and to also prove Masters guilt.
