A friend shipped Mickey a baby elephant, Bobo (not, apparently, related to the Warner Bros. Bobo) as a playmate for Pluto. Plutos first introduction is to Bobos trunk, through a fence. Hes not thrilled, and marches away. The playful Bobo grabs Plutos tail and follows. Plutos devil self tells him hes being replaced, and tells him to attack with red pepper.

The Night Before Christmas

A narrator sings the opening stanzas of the classic poem while we see the house at rest. Santa lands on the roof, comes down the chimney, and opens his bag. The toys march out and decorate the tree, with the toy soldiers shooting balls from their cannon, a toy airplane stringing a garland like skywriting, and the toy firemen applying snow. A blimp delivers the star to the top. Meanwhile, Santa fills the stockings. His laughter awakens the children, who sneak out. The toys rush to their places, and Santa escapes up the chimney just in time. The closing verse is sung.

Between a caterpillar and the hen chasing it, hes soon tangled up and counting ten again. He also shrugs off a bird using his lemonade as a birdbath, but when a woodpecker attacks his apple tree, burying Donald in apples, he snaps.

Goofy is tired and bored. He needs a hobby and decides to pursue photography. Wildlife is an excellent choice for photography so Goofy decides to take a grizzly bears picture. Unfortunately, when Goofys flash powder explodes, the bear becomes infuriated and chases Goofy through an amusement park and back to his apartment. Fortunately for Goofy, the bear is pleased with the resulting pictures and ultimately sets up a stand giving his autographed photo for $10.

The Little Whirlwind

Mickey wants some of the cake Minnie has just baked, so he offers to clean up her yard. As hes working, a tiny tornado (smaller than him) with a mind of its own comes along and causes trouble. After Mickey finally chases the little twister off, it gets its big brother, which makes a grand mess of the yard. Most of the cartoon, except for the opening and closing, has no dialogue.
