Taye Cannon was born in Gadsden Alabama and raised throughout the deep south before relocating to Austin Texas In Texas Taye has fronted multiple musical groups traveling across the United States and Japan opening for the likes of BB King Tom Jones R Kelly Ludacris and Fitz The Tantrums Taye studied Meisner with acclaimed acting instructor Laurel Vouvray In the Moment Acting and attended the Film Acting Academy in Houston He hones his skills as a mixed martial artist and boxer at The Void Martial Arts in Austin In 2020 Taye married Dr Vivian Esparza and resides in Texas with their two dogs
