Harold Trompetero Saray was born in Bogotá in 1971 He is a social communicator from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and a publicist from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano he studied filmmaking in Cuba Spain and France He worked as Creative Director for three years at Leo Burnett Agency in Bogota He has directed series and soap operas Cartas a Harrison and Amor a mil as well as commercials music videos and video art productions His first feature film was Diástole y sístole los movimientos del corazón awarded at the Cartagena de Indias International Film Festival in 2000
