Christopher Murray

Christopher Murray was born in 1985 in Santiago Director of the feature film Manuel de Ribera released at the Rotterdam Film Festival 2010 and winner of the award for Best National Film at SANFIC 2010 He is cofounder of the documentary project MAFI Mapa Fílmico de un País wwwmafitv premiered internationally at IDFA 2012 General Director of the collective documentaries Propaganda 2014 and God 2019 both premiered and awarded at the Visions du Réel festival He is the director and scriptwriter of the feature film The Blind Christ with which he competed for the Golden Lion in the Official Competition of the Venice Film Festival 2016 and winner of the International Critics Award FIPRESCI at FICCI 2017 He is also the creator and head of the program of the new Diploma in Anthropology and Audiovisual Creation at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile
