Jonathan Michael Goldstein born September 2 1968 New York City is an American screenwriter and film director best known for his work on Dungeons Dragons Honor Among Thieves Game Night SpiderMan Homecoming and Horrible Bosses He has worked collaboratively with John Francis Daley as a filmmaking duo whom he met on The Geena Davis Show Daley and Goldsteins earlier work was predominantly based in the comedy genre where they were coscreenwriters for Horrible Bosses 2011 cowriters for The Incredible Burt Wonderstone 2013 costory writers for Horrible Bosses 2 2014 and also cowrotecodirected the fifth film in the National Lampoons Vacation film series Vacation 2015 The duo received cowriter credits for SpiderMan Homecoming 2017 with other screenwriters which was met with critical and financial success and they codirected the 2018 black comedy Game Night which also met with critical and financial success
