Argyris Xafis 1976 is a Greek actor and director He was born and raised in Peristeri in 1976 He studied at the Higher School of Dramatic Art of the National Theatre He has participated in many theater performances mainly of the National Theater and the Theater of the South as well as in films In 2001 he was honored with the Horn Award for his role in the play The Turn of the Screw He has received excellent5 reviews for many of his plays In 2011 he was awarded by the Hellenic Cinema Academy with the award for Best Actor for his role in the film From the Bones Taken
