I have always been enchanted by the power of film Being raised in Colorado I was surrounded by mountains and vast hills I loved to explore these hills and dream about the stories that could be told The way film can tell dramatic and engaging stories right before our eyes is something I still find amazing to this day Growing up I loved playing with images and sounds creating home videos and sound effects with what I had laying around I would use my stuffed animals and puppets as actors and start to come up with my own stories One of my early films from childhood was about a lobster that wanted to play classical instruments From there I dove right into the world of film Working at a movie theater I got to see a lot of free movies and I decided to shoot a film thereafter we would close Trying to imitate what I had seen on the big screen As a film producer I ask myself what is the best way to tell this story A story can be told in many ways my passion is finding the perfect one
