Jason is a film director and documentarian living in Bed Stuy Brooklyn with a treasure trove of expired Fuji 125T and a cat named Miles Davis He is currently developing a long form narrative slate Hes edited four feature documentaries including A Kid from Coney Island Netflix Down a Dark Stairwell PBS about the police murder of Akai Gurley and an upcoming feature documentary on Kanye West called Jeenyuhs Netflix Hes also just completed editing a docuseries based on the book How Music Got Free AppleTV In his spare time he teaches 16mm35mm cinematography at a cinema arts nonprofit called Mono No Aware
