Born in Bucharest in 1982 Andrei Tãnase studied at the National University of the Dramatic Arts and Cinema UNATC where he made several films including Myriapod and Love Forever He worked for a period for Romanian television before moving into cinema projects and writing workshops Claudiu the Fish his first produced feature was screened in 2014 Tigru is his first feature
