Tala Ashe

Ashe was born in Tehran Iran She immigrated to the United States when she was nine months old Ashe grew up in Powell Ohio right next to the state capital Columbus She participates in theatrical productions of her high school as an actress and director She received a BA in Fine Arts from Boston University School of Drama and also trained at the Academy of Music and Drama in London and the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York She then plays in many regional and OffBroadway productions Her first screen role was as Nadia in the 2008 film Waiting in Beijing She gueststarred on various series such as Law Order Law Order Criminal Intent 30 Rock and Covert Affairs She also has recurring roles on Smash and American Odyssey She is also part of the cast of As the World Turns In 2017 she joined the main cast of DCs Legends of Tomorrow as Zari Tomaz
