Shannon Murray born 1976 in Dublin Ireland is an actress writer broadcaster disability activist and lawyer She is the daughter of Frank Murray who was the manager of The Pogues and Thin Lizzy1 Murray was left paralysed from the waist down after a diving accident when she was 14 years old She then went on to win the first ever search for a disabled model and was the first disabled model to feature in a highprofile advertising campaign for the British store Debenhams
