Kate Kendall

Kate Kendall 27 July 1973 is a Britishborn Australian actress producer and director She is best known for her long running roles as Angie Piper in Stingers 19982004 and Lauren Turner in Neighbours 20132022 Kendall was born in England and moved to Australia with her family when she was six months old where she was raised in Adelaide South Australia She studied at the Centre for Performing Arts CPA now the Adelaide College of the Arts in Adelaide There she was taught by her father David Kendall who then headed the acting course As Kendall was wrapping up the role of Lauren in 2017 Kendall began directing small scenes She has since directed numerous episodes of the series In June 2020 it was announced that Kendall would become a producer She covered for series producer Natalie Lynch while she was on maternity leave
