Oliver Briscombe

Oliver Briscombe is a rising young British actor known for his performance in Alan Bennetts The Choral 2025 Originally from North Yorkshire he began performing at a young age earning early recognition for his stage work He went on to train at MetFilm School where he developed a strong foundation in screen acting voice and physical performance Briscombe plays Lofty one of the young leads in The Choral 2025 a World War I drama written by Alan Bennett and directed by Nicholas Hytner The film which marks Oliver Briscombes feature debut is set for international release after its premiere at TIFF Briscombe has won multiple awards for his performances in Shakespeare Comedy devised work and musical theatre most notably winning the Harrogate Competitive Festival for Music Speech Drama in 2023
