Robin Petré is an awardwinning independent documentary filmmaker She was born in Denmark 1985 and with her roots in the raw and scenic lands of Scandinavia she often finds inspiration in nature Shes greatly interested in sensory cinema and new forms of cinematic storytelling that push the borders of the conventional at times implementing elements of haptic analogue or direct noncamera filmmaking She holds an MA in Documentary Film Directing from Doc Nomads the European traveling film school and has studied and worked with film and media in seven countries across four continents including Australia USA Thailand Hungary and more
