Tony Colti

Tony Colti started out in the country music field in his home city of El Paso He toured the Southern states for two years with various groups and then turned solo vocalist As a vocalist he headlined in clubs up and down the East coast New York Washington DC Virginia Beach and Miami Beach It was in Richmond Virginia where Tony Colti entered musical comedy He starred in Oklahoma Carousel and other musical shows He also appeared in dramatic roles in such plays as Street Car Named Desire Then I performed in nightclubs in Spain He did some adventure diving for shipwrecks off the coast of North Africa In 1960 he returned to the United States to resume his acting and singing career He moved to Los Angeles and was signed by Paramount Studios where he appeared in the movie Paint Your Wagon and On A Clear Day This led to television parts and he had roles in Bonanza Adam12 Dan August Cannon FBI Interns High Chaparral Most Wanted and Barnaby Jones He was a star entertainer on board Royal Viking Lines cruise ships He made five feature movies in Italy before going to the Far East on the Pacific Far East Lines ships
