Jennifer Hooper

Dr Jennifer Hooper is a materials scientist and Titanic expert featured in several historical documentaries She earned her PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Johns Hopkins University focusing on historic materials and conducting research at the Smithsonian and the National Institute of Standards and Technology Her work analyzing 48 rivets recovered from the Titanic helped shape our understanding of the disaster and led to her book What Really Sank the Titanic Dr Hooper appears in Historys Greatest Mysteries 2024 and Titanic The Digital Resurrection 2025 where she shares her insights into the ships construction and ultimate fate Her other credits include Titanic How It Really Sank 2009 and Seconds from Disaster 2006
