Paul started his comedy career performing at open mics as a junior at Yale University He was first runnerup in the universitys 2011 Last Comic Standing competition and hosted its Fall Show starring professional comic Bo Burnham later that year While at school Paul also directed the artwork and wrote for The Yale Record the nations oldest college humor magazine
