Grégory Levasseur

Grégory Levasseur is a writer producer dialogue writer artistic director and director of second French team born in 1979 in Douarnenez in Finistère He often collaborates with his childhood friend Alexandre Aja Gregory Levasseur who is inseparable often devotes himself to directing and Alexandre Aja to directing since his first short film Over the Rainbow in 1997 presented in official competition at the Cannes Film Festival and nominated for the Palme dOr short film and Award for Best Short Film at Molodist International Film Festival After their first feature film Furia in 1999 which is a failure they write Haute Tension which is very successful at festivals in France and abroad at the Catalonia International Film Festival where they award the Best Director Award and the Grand Prix of European fantasy film especially at the Independent Film Festival of Sundance in 2004 which allows them to take the first steps in Hollywood US producers entrust their remakes like The Hills Have Eyes The Hills Have Eyes 2006 that Wes Craven was conducted in 1977 Mirrors 2008 and Piranha 3D 2010 By the way in 2006 they give a hand to their Canadian friend Franck Khalfoun to work on the script for 2 e basement P2 2007
