Bruce Patane Altomari Yarnell December 28 1935 November 30 1973 was an American film television and theatre actor and singer He stood at an impressive 6 feet 4 inches 193 cm tall adding to his commanding stage presence Yarnell began his career as a singer studying opera and performing at the Earl Carroll Theatre in Los Angeles He quickly transitioned to acting making his Broadway debut in the original production of Camelot as Sir Lionel Yarnell also appeared in a number of films including Irma la Douce 1963 and The Next Best Thing 2000 Sadly Yarnells life was tragically cut short at the age of 37 when he died in a car accident Despite his brief career he left behind a lasting legacy in the entertainment industry His powerful voice commanding presence and talent for both singing and acting made him a memorable performer who is still fondly remembered by fans today
