Matthew Frias is a film and television actor who earned his first major role portraying Arturo in the popular 2014 sports drama When the Game Stands Tall He has since gone on to appear in the 2015 drama Akron and the 2016 western By Way of Helena He was cast alongside Sean Astin in the 2016 comedy thriller Bad Kids of Crestview Academy He was born and raised just outside of Dallas Texas He later settled in Los Angeles California
