Alaa Safi is a French actor director and producer He was the world champion in Tae Kwon Do at 18 then began his TVFilm career as an action actor and landed his first major role when he partnered with Jackie Chan in the movie Chinese Zodiac 2012 Since then Alaa Safi has worked with multiple major studios such as Marvels Doctor Strange 2016 The Mauritanian 2021 and most recently Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny 2023 In addition to Alaas film roles he is also a series regular on the groundbreaking TV series The Chosen 2017 Alaa Safi began directing in 2020 with the short film Chrysalis Short 2020 followed by Coming Home 2023 both of which have earned awards in American film festivals
