Sam Ho ShuPui is a director and former actor born in Hong Kong He began working in the industry as an actor in Hong Kong drama series In 1989 he joined Television Broadcasts Limited TVB as an assistant director and was promoted to director the next year In 1992 he directed his first feature film Lucky Way under the pseudonym Chai Wong The next year he directed his second film Gigolo Club under the pseudonym Ho Lok He left TVB in 1997 to work on Chinese television drama series
