Anuvab Pal born 27 April 1976 is an Indian stand up comedian screenwriter playwright and novelist Anuvab is a veteran on the circuit having performed all over India and cities such as London New York San Francisco Dubai and Singapore He remains the only Indian comedian invited to perform by Harvard University Anuvab has had three standup specials that began in Mumbai and played to soldout houses around the world The Empire and The Nation Wants To Know which sold out 3 shows in New York City in record time His latest special Alive at 40 is now streaming on Amazon Prime He has performed for several corporates and conducts workshops as well with an emphasis on creativity He has written the 2007 Bollywood movie Loins Of Punjab and 2009s The President Is Coming He is a theatre writer as well and has several plays to his credit which have played in India and New York and contributes a column to the ET He hosted a successful humour podcast Our Last Week with actor Kunal Roy Kapoor and is currently a recurring guest on one of the most popular humour podcasts in the world The Bugle hosted by Andy Zaltzman
