Bryan Lomax

Bryan Lomax grew up in the town of Warrington in the county of Cheshire England He is the youngest of three sons to Gregory and Janet Lomax He attended Woolston High School and Sixth Form Centre from 1991 until 1997 and studied a Bachelor of Arts in Media with TV Production under the University of Manchester from 2003 until 2006 gaining an upper 21 classification From 2006 until 2007 he studied a Master of Arts degree in Television Production under the University of Chester gaining a pass with distinction His film Far From Home won the Best Documentary category in Total Films short film competition in 2008 After working for a few years on several music videos including codirecting the release of Hayseed Dixies No Sleep til Liverpool DVD he moved into directing feature length documentaries starting with The Life and Times and Real Robyn Hoode in 2015 then Riches in 2018 He also worked as 1st assistant director on the 2017 TV series Staying Power
