Rodney Bell 19 March 1966 27 November 2005 was an Australian television actor He attended the prestigious NIDA National Institute for Dramatic Arts and followed an acting course for people who were already active in the business He graduated in 1988 Bells debut on stage was in a Shakespeare play when he was eight years old Rodneys television debut was in the childrens television series The Lost Islands in 1976 His international breakthrough was his role as the arrogant Frank Blackwood in the television series The Man from Snowy River aka Snowy River The McGregor Saga Bell died on 27 November 2005 at Sydney New South Wales Australia from cancer at aged 39
