Alex Montagnani was born Alexander TanikieMontagnani on June 12 1988 in Streatham South West London UK and is a professional MMA fighter and actor Born to parents active in the world of martial arts he began training in judo and boxing at the age of 4 Due to his physical and athletic capabilities he took up several other sports such as rugby and athletics Alex continued his training in judo and later took up Brazilian jiu jitsu at the age of 17 which facilitated his transition into the world of professional MMA Fighting on some of the most well renowned martial art shows in Europe such as BAMMA and Cage Warriors he also won the Fury welterweight title He is exclusively signed with Contenders MMA Alex began acting in 2014 when he was headhunted for a small role in short film Cagefighter written and directed by Jesse Quinones
