He is a Japanese singer part of Sony Music Entertainment Japan He was scouted by Johnnys Jimusho at age 15 and made his professional debut under his stage name the following year He belonged to Johnny Associates but later left the agency in 1976 to Burning Production Co Ltd He married the actress Nitani Yurie in 1987 and they had two daughters The couple divorced in 1998 He remarried in 2000 but divorced again in April of 2005 He registered marriage to former talento and office worker Tokutake Rina on March 31st 2012 He became a father of twin boys in late July 2014
